Excursion to Dachau
The tragic history of the concetracion camps began in Dachau with the the first nazi concentration camp for political prisoners. One of the darkest points of the second world war was the brutal and massive liquidation and extermination efforts in the concentration camps. This guided tour will allow you to take a wiev in the places where these, for most of today’s people almost unimaginable, practices were committed.

From the agreed meeting point, we will take a train to reach the nice and beautiful city of Dachau (20 km from Munich). In the old Nazi concentration camp of Dachau (entrance not included) we will have the possibility to visit this commemorative field, its museum and a documentary is also offered. Although the visit of a concentration camp can not be defined as something pleasant, its historical implication and importance are beyond doubt. In this excursion we recall some of the most tragic events of the 20th century in the same place where they happened and reminds us that those who “do not know history, are condemned to repeat it”.
